I'm trying to design an Air Flow Sensor while using a 1-Wire Bus. Does anyone know of a certain design for this?

My main goal is to stay clear from mechanical parts and use a Thermistor differential ciruict, but I am open to all designs or ideas anyone has to input!

Thanks!

Hi,

One wire, as in one wire where the machine acts as ground, or just one wire period?

For one wire devices check out Dallas/Maxim

The have a long list of devices including one wire ADC's.

The type of sensor you need to build should be based on the range of air speeds you need to monitor.

Hi,

I had a feeling it was that. "1 Wire" actually requires two wires, one for signal and one for ground, so that name is just ridiculous. So what if i really do use one single wire with no ground for communication, should i call it "0 Wire" ha ha, or what if i use RF instead, should i call that "-1 Wire" ha ha.
Oh yeah ok folks, im using "Minus One Wire" technology for my RF remote control <chuckle>.
