80 pin tqfp

the pins are way to small to solder, and all the sockets i found are $150. anyone know of cheaper sockets for 80 pin tqfps?
 
There is no other alternative. Either you have to use those bulky sockets or learn how to solder these devices. Here is a tutorial on how to solder QFP devices **broken link removed**
