Probably the easiest way is to use an R2R ladder DAC, this simply uses resistors to create the analogue output. If you check on the MicroChip website, there are application notes showing them. For an even cheaper way, you could use one of the PWM outputs - low-pass filtering will convert the PWM to a DC voltage, but you will need to buffer it for any sort of current.
