7-segment display buffer

Does anyone know a good ic to buffer a common anode 7 segment display (8 lines, including dp) @ 20mA sink per led.

I'm looking for a 1 chip solution - Only found ic's with 7 or less buffers atm.

The best I can come up with is ULN2001, 2002 or 2003 series ICs. Look at Datasheet, they got 7 drivers.

I've never seen an 8-line driver. Maybe you can use 8 BJTs instead...

Sounds like a ULN2803a or ULN2804a might be what you're looking for. The ULN2803a is designed to be used with 5 volt TTL and CMOS and the ULN2804a is for 6-15 volt CMOS. try an octal D flip-flop. Chip # 74HCT273 should work fine.

Thx. I think the ULN2803A will do fine.
