Place a generic Zener from the default lib on your page. Click on the letter D. Edit the text box to replace "D" with "Z5p6" ( do not click on the body of the Zener symbol itself).

Now paste the string on the next line into the text box with comes from clicking on .OP

.model Z5p6 D(Is=1.5n Rs=.5 Cjo=185p nbv=3 bv=5.6 Ibv=1m)

The .model statement has to be placed somewhere on the schematic. See here:

My LTspice IV has two 5.6V Zener models:

Hi I cannot find .OP Where is it?

Mine is 4.22k.

.OP is at the top right of your screen.

I've got the most up to date LTspice XVII and it hasn't got a 5.6V zener.

Mike.

Apparently, for some odd reason, they eliminated those Zeners in later editions of LTspice.

Favoring towards adjustable reference devices instead of continued adding per individual Zener? (Referring to the programs possible reduction of size and continuous updates by adding list of models "out of the box")
The only reason to remove models instead of updating them regarding in thoughts.

Here's my LTspice model for the D1N752 5.6V Zener:
You can put it in the standard.dio file in the LTspice cmp library

.MODEL D1N752 D(IS=1E-11 RS=6.168 N=1.27 TT=5E-8 CJO=3.766E-10 VJ=0.75 M=0.33 BV=5.477 IBV=0.01 type=zener vpk=5.6)

Thank you very much.

the target app./env. defines what you need (here is moderate to low frequency v.)
in some occasions you can just tile the number of 2N2222-s with BC or BE or EC tied together apx 700mV drop for each
