Hi All, I have a 4x4 touchpad that I would like to connect to an encoder(?) and have it communicate to the STM32 via SPI, not I2C. I'm looking for an SMD (not BGA) so I have the option to troubleshoot. Can anyone recommend an available IC?
Just use a SM PIC to read the keypad, and send the data to the main processor - using any method you like, personally I'd use simple RS232 'type' serial as it's simple to do and only needs one pin.
