**broken link removed**As for Mike Ml's circuit, I got it to do a 16-count pretty well. I ended up going out of pin 9 on U1 to pin 13 of U2. Then pin 11 on U2 through inverter to pin 13 of U1. It counts to 8 on U1 and then 8 on U2.
Why did you go through 2 inverters off of U2 into U1? for a little delay?
