    I am sourcing a ethenet hub 1 to 2 only. And because of limited dimension , very small size of hub must be used The Question is , can i just connect all 3 cat5 cable in parallel. i.e. Cable A pin1 connect to Cable B and Cable C pin1, ..... Could this achieve the problem? THX

    yes, you got my idea. i use 8051 to control different device with different protocol . All these devices with predefined proctocol, may ASCII or bitstream. is there any IC can buffer such connection?

    How can i connect to rs232modem from MAX485 chipset? The connection is MAX485 2-wire to ATEN IC485S convertor to modem. The modem do not have any response. but i have test the cable by logic probe, which response pulse when data pass. Is there any thing missed? RTS need to be setted...
