    Equivalent micro to NEC UPD78C10

I am wondering if there might be a UPD 78C10 plugin or processor config file for IDA pro 7 ? A shipload of plugins on GitHub, used a few.

    Equivalent micro to NEC UPD78C10

I have been doing this by hand, 64K bytes worth. Very obvious written with a macro assembler so rather easy. Just tedious and very time consuming. Once I get the strings defined, the rest should be working code. The target has what I call a bug and want to add a function to its operation, a...

    Equivalent micro to NEC UPD78C10

Thanks, I am using MAME The Keerden disassembler wouldnt compile. The target is a controler for a radio with 64K external eprom. The problem is MAME disassembles everything as code. There are 24 pages of text strings in the code. I have been parsing the strings by hand.

    Equivalent micro to NEC UPD78C10

Hi people I am trying to disassemble code for an NEC UPD78C10 for patching. My crude disassember doesn't parse ASCII or data strings, so the code is mis aligned throughout. (bad code) Does anyone know of a micro with compatible hex op codes ? I used IDA PRO that looks like it parsed ASCII...

    VCO in Radar Transceiver

That would take a special VCO capable of such frequencies. the multipliers take a much lower frequency and multiply it to your 77-88 Ghz. Gunn oscillators or magnetrons are typical oscillators that can reach these frequencies. In radar these are often followed by a high power puled amplifier or TWT.

    RS232 issues

Hi people, I am really at odds trying to find an RS232 line driver. My project is a breakout for the RS232 that won't load the connection between two [max 232] points. A port sniffer if you will to log data between the two points. For all the chips I have searched, they all seem to convert to...

    RS 232 breakout tap ?

Let me dig up the spec sheets for these, I think you may be on the right track here. What I am wanting is the host to talk to the radios normally while 'transparently' logging the data to and from. Thanks.

    RS 232 breakout tap ?

This issue is not consistent, I have several devices, some work with the direct "Y" cable, some don't. The devices are programmable radios. Ones that fail error with no hanshaking or radio not in program mode. No data is recorded. Because some work, the problem is with the radios, most likely...

    RS 232 breakout tap ?

I have that, my issue is in hardware. Thanks.

Help with a very basic project!

Sounds a lot like one of those slideshow devices. Conect this to a computer and in file explorer, see if this device shows up. You might have to go to the manufacturer for certain software or drivers. If it shows like an external device, you can go through the tree and locate the video files and...

    RS 232 breakout tap ?

Hi people. I have a device using RS-232 and want to tap into the TX and RX lines. I have a direct tap now, but is often problematic with the device in test. I am guessing the device lacks the fanout to properly drive a second RS-232 port. I am thinking a bus transceiver may work to resolve this...

    what type of High frequency?

Presuming a DC-DC boost converter, this is a PWM output so there will be small changes in bias. doesn't sound unusual, and the cold running just shows the load is very low. Consider the dutycycle here is quite low. You will see this when you can look at it with a scope.

    JTAG flashing memory

Gotta be sure programming voltages are correct. Had similar problems myself. wound up programming the flash directly.

How do TV sub channels work?

Well, see, what I previously posted is not entirely correct, that is how confusing this gets. A little mix of DVB-S there. I can add that for any given area, there is a separation in channels and coverage. EIRP is also a limit but many places you can get out of area channels via translators. I...

How do TV sub channels work?

No, because you are talking different TSIDs. Dual tuners are capable though. The TSID is very much like a MAC address but in broadcast mode.
