Hi
Someone posted the diag below a while ago, I have two quick questions.
1) I assume that the markings on the caps are the numbers that would actually be printed on them (104 = 100nF etc)?
2) The caps on the output stage are marked 1032/1KV - what does this mean?
3) If I built the device as per the diagram, but without the extra caps/diodes (indicated by the "x100"), what would the output be like? (I assume it wouldn't be as much as 30KV)
4) Could I replace the 1N4005 and 1N4007 with 1N4001?
5) I can't find any TIP31, so would a TIP31C do the same? (there can't be much difference)
Ok, that was four questions, maybe five, but anyway.
