wireless serial rs232 transmission

has anybody done wireless transmission of serial data. to be more
specific rs232 std from comp to a micro controller. it would be helpful
if u could gimme links to sites which deal with readymade products,
circuits info on these.

i have done it once before but I designed the boards and used discrete parts. However, this place https://www.laipac.com/ always advertises and their parts are very inexpensive. This would not connect to your RS232 directly as it uses 0-5V for signalling, you would need a MAX232 or similar inbetween. Alternatively, there are some premade systems that you just plug in, but they are usually expensive.
