Testing for no-connection or ground

Hey,

I have a signal coming in which will either be a "no-connection" or a ground. When the signal is grounded, this will cause 5 LED's to flash, and when its off there is "no-connection". I'm using a PIC 16F88, and I only have digital inputs to work with. Is there anyway this can be done/detected?

Thanks a lot.

Turn on the internal weak pull ups. The input will then be high if "no-connection" or low if grounded.

Mike.
