I Need to know the answer to this question:

- In a synchronous motor of two pairs of poles, which will be the speed of the shaft? what is your slip?

I do not know how to calculate it .. please help with formulas or calculations!

The motor speed in a synchronous motor is equal to the power frequency divided by the number of pole-pairs.

If you know what a synchronous motor is than you can answer the question of what the slip is (assuming it is operating at or below its rated shaft load).

I want to learn winding in motor as i am not understanding it in class lecture so pls tell some link.
