Solid State drive

What do you all think of me making a solid state hard drive from Micro SD cards in RAID 0 with a SATA interface?

What problems could you see with this?

Power is a moot point, as you can do all sorts of fancy wiring to power each device. Limited read write cycles are not an issue, seeing as I would install an OS on the device and use a conventional HDD for data storage. Drive failure can be covered by running RAID 5 or 6, or even 0 + 1, or 1 + 0, which ever one mirrors the stripe.

I can't see any other setbacks to this, please let me know what you think.
