Is there a way in MPLAB to simulate a external Osc for tmr1, to set program timming?

Is there another simulator that will do this with a Asm program?

Thanks again

Not 100% sure, but it looks like if you select "stimulus" under the debugger menu in mplab (6.5) you can assign inputs to any pin, the "Synch" mode may do what you want.

Please let us know.....

I got looking through the MPLAB Sim help more, and under timers, it says that a internal can be simulated but not an external.

O well. Gess I will find another way.

Thanks for the help
