I need you opinions about a project that has been assigned to me. I was asked to synchronize two robots. These robots are from seiko d tran, they can be controlled through a keyboard and a rs232 port. I need to communicate with the robot and my question is, would it be a good idea to use a PIC to control the process using its l/O pins?
