replaced the power capacitors

New Member
2 power caps got ripped out of my motherboard so i got 2 that were the same and replaced them. now computer will not power on. check power supply and its ok.

Your motherboard will more than likely be multi-layered. A possible explanation is when the capacitors were ripped out the copper "tubes" that may have been connecting some layers were also ripped out. Did the capacitors that were ripped out have what look like small copper cylinders on the legs?
