When John posted earlier the number of posts shown on the left had disappeared. It's back now of course.

And gone again. As are the name of the latest poster for the latest active thread for each board on the main page
 
It seems that the number of posts, members' locations and join dates are not visible if you are not logged in. Also, the name of the authors of the posts are visible to logged members only.
