I have already isssued my legal licence for fm broadcasting.
Sorry, but you're lying!
If you've got a licence to broadcast then you must use professional equipment, that meets the VERY strict requirements of your licence.
You can't set up a broadcast radio station in the UK, it's illegal - and offenders are heavily prosecuted.
I do have some knowledge of how you do go about it - but it's so complicated, and unlikely to succeed, that it's not worth trying.
Even worse, assuming you DO get permission, and a licence is issued, you then have to bid to gain that licence - and anyone else can bid against you and might get it instead!.
(A friend who is a professional DJ went through the process, and asked me if I would engineer for him - he was never able to convince the authorities of the need for a station in the town/area he was targeting).
First of all, I know all the rules of UK, so I am originally from, also it is clear that they are very strict, but where I am living right away, we started this as a project, we got the appropriated licence for using it that, the only thing is that to get finished the licence, they are awaiting for an equipment that compliance with all regulation.Second of all, I am not lying, I just looking for information about it, we are preparing a special team, but meanwhile I thought that here I could get some ideas about the type of equipment that we will need. All the people that belong to the project are professional capable to run a radio station. As I am part of the project and I able to suggest them where to find a good high quality equipment.
Sorry, but I don't believe you - getting the gear would be trivial if you actually managed to get a broadcast licence, which would specify the exact frequency, maximum power, and the aerial type and location allowed.
BTW, have you considered Internet broadcasting? - my friend ran his radio station on-line while trying (unsuccessfully) to obtain a licence.
It's a different matter if you're in a country like Haiti, you hadn't mentioned that before.
Your problems might be getting suppliers to send equipment there?, do the USA deal with Haiti OK, that's probably the easiest place to buy gear - what power are you after?.
Well, I thought that was going to be the problem until yesterday, so finding out on google, we got a company from UK, check this out www.veronica.co.uk, it seems to be so close to us, whenever you go to cart option, it displays to be established in Dominican Republic.
Maybe the company has an extension close to us.
Based on your experiences, what would you suggest to US?
I don't have any experience at all in the USA - but the UK link you posted above looks fine, and is a link I would probably have suggested.
Thanks dude for your help, we will purchase the 500ERP System(**broken link removed**), after get this completed, I will let you know what is going on it. We feel really excited about. If you know an extra information that could contribute with us, just hit us here.
Nice
Next time I see my mate who was trying to set up a radio station I'll ask him what gear he was looking at (he pops in very occasionally).
