Digital Cateye kilometers counter

Hello,

this is a bicycle kilometers counter and I opened it because it showed nothing on the display. Now I have seen when I pressed on the display different segments appears on it depends where and how strong you press. I think may be the orange rubber makes not good contact between the gold pads at the pcb and the display contacts themselves.

Is possible to repair it?

Yes that is probably the problem.

Sometimes cleaning it with Contact Cleaner will help.
Other times its a Pressure or Alignment problem.
