Hi there

If a balanced 3-phase load of 130 kW and a PF=0.8 (in star configuration) is connected to the secondary side of a transformer (Line voltage = 400 V and in star configuration), how much current will the neutral line convey on the secondary side of the transformer?

Thanks

Hi,

When you say 'line' voltage do you mean "line to neutral" or "line to line" voltage?

Should be near zeero, unless the load is non-linear.

Hi,

Yes if it is a perfectly balanced load then there would be zero current in the neutral.
