Coding in receving data

Dear all,

I am a newbies in writing 8051 using C with Keil, and i am going to write a program that allow me to get the data from ADC before i use those data in 8051 for futher calculation. Is there any one can tell me how to write it and what should i be care in writing this code?

Moreover, i will be glad to see any schemetic of connecting a 8051 to an ADC.
