Hi,

Could someone explain to me please why the bit error rate of BPSK in AWGN is:

Where:
Eb - Energy per bit
No/2 - Noise power spectral density (W/Hz)

Thank you.
 
What I know that error in bpsk signal results due to some ambiguity in phase shift during reception of transmitted signal.
