Best interface to use.

Hi,

I want a add an interface to my project to control and measure a variety of things using off the shelf modules like A/D D/A pulse etc.

What is the best interface that would have the most compatibility for industrial usage RS232/RS432/RS485 or another interface?

It depends on the maximum distace you want between both the modules.
RS232 has maximum distance of 15 meters.
RS422/RS485 will go upto 1250 meters.
