A novel harmonic oscillator: the gic resonator 2013-01-17

There are two additional features of the proposed circuit which deserve mentioning:

1.) It is very easy to adapt the circuit to single supply operation. For this purpose, the resistor R6 is split into two resistors R6,1 and R6,2 (with two times the value as before) forming a voltage divider between +Vcc and ground.

2.) Unlike other GIC circuits it is possible to use current-feedback amplifiers (CFA) rather than classical voltage-feedback opamps. This is due to the resistor Rx which provided always a resistive feedback path.
Thus, it is possible to exploit the good large-signal properties of the CFA's (slew rate).
