Would this SSR work for PWM control?

That SSR is for AC, so it will have SCRs or a triac as it's power semiconductor. Don't know if has zero cross detection.

If you're planning to do PWM with a DC supply voltage, then no, it won't work for you. You can turn it on, but you can't turn it off.
 
Thanks Chris! You saved me some frustration--I didn't consider the difference between AC and DC. It's obvious once it's been pointed out.
 
Most DC SSRs are slow and do not work well for PWM unless it's low frequency. Depending upon the PWM frequency you use, you need to look for a DC SSR with the appropriate response time (which unfortunately is not always given in the specifications).
