Where have the electronicdesign.com illustrations gone?

It's really very annoying, being referred to "figure 1" "figure 2" and the link goes to a "404 not found" message. Does anyone know if these illustrations are alive and well somewhere? There are a few articles like this.

EDN and Electronic Design are notorious for this practice.

I noticed that, long long time ago. Maybe more than 10 years ago.
Their site is/was the most inconsistent one I could recall.
