Meaning of 1V peak to peak

Measuring from the tip of 1 peak to the tip of the next peak. This is a complete cycle or 360 degrees is put together. So basically, if you measure starting at the 1st peak the then goes down, crosses 0 and then reaches a lower peak, this is called 1 cycle. Measure from the Top of the 1st to the bottom of the time completing 1 cycle.

In nearly every radio receiver and audio amplifier, an ac voltage is "superimposed" on a DC level. This DC level in amplifiers is usually the base bias voltage or the collector or emitter voltage of an amplifier stage. Coupling (blocking) capacitors are used to isolate the various levels of DC voltages between two circuits while letting the AC voltage pass with no change in amplitude or waveshape. Often, there is a capacitor at the output of an amplifier to allow the signal to finally fall such that it is symmetrical about zero volts (ground/earth).

A 4v peak-to-peak AC sine wave riding on a 5v DC voltage will have a negative peak of +3v and a positive peak of +7v. This same signal riding on a -10v DC voltage will have a negative peak of -12v and a positive peak of -8v.

as u can see teh cricuit.....not clear picture but ...from R4 2V DC is comin and from R8 its AC 1 v peck....both r modulate beofre going into main IC....... how signal will look like after modulation? is thisany IC that help me to modulate both signals ?

Actually raven, from a max peak to a min peak is only half of a cycle. A full cycle is going from one max to the next max (the same point, just one period over).
