What connector do I need?

The photo is of a power cord for a 12V rotary tool. The (3)-prongs fit into corresponding holes in a power supply.

Can anyone tell me what type (name) of female connector corresponds to this style of pin/prong?

It looks like the EU type E to the rectangular IEC connector for grid AC not 12V

It's from a 12V Proxxon rotary tool -- the short pin is to prevent reverse polarity when plugging into power supply.

It looks like a Proxxon proprietary connector. Is there some reason you need to know? It almost looks like the 4 pin Molex connector used on old Hard Disk drives. What pitch are the pins and diameter?

The kit I ordered does not have the (deluxe) p.s. whose image you've posted -- I want to build a speed controller to allow speeds slower than 5000 rpm and want to plug the tool into that.

I don't yet have it in hand, so can't make measurements. I thought someone might recognize the connector.
