What capacitor is this?

Quick newbe question. I am following a diagram and saw this on it. I assume it's a capacitor but I haven't seen the symbol before, can someone indicate what type of capacitor (if it is that) it is?

It's an uncommon symbol for a polarized (electrolytic) capacitor. The bottom lead (fat part of symbol) is positive.
