hi
i need help trying to make a voltage to frequency converter out of just 741 opamps and npn tranisitors. i need to convert 1 volt to 1khz square or triangle wave.
example,
1volt = 1khz
2 volt=2khz
1.5volts=1.5khz

thanks for your help

Use the LM2917 circuit:
The hash filter is only needed in an automotive application.

Get the National Semiconductor application note AN162, it shows how they make the frequency to voltage converter.

The title of this thread is 'Voltage to frequency converter', presumably a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator).
