I bought two of these **broken link removed** which are supposed to be 24V-1.5Amps but I can not find the datasheet or pinout. Only on pinout configuration works but the regulator heat sup quite a bit which making me wonder. It also puts our 22.95 volts when the input is 24.22
Anyone familiar with those one?

Thanks
Kal

Its spec's are at 1A but most can produce 2.2A but with poorer specs.
The datasheet shows that its minimum input must be typically 2V higher than its output and its output could be 25V so the minimum input should be 27V or 28V.
Of course it gets hot. The voltage from input to output times the current in it equals how many Watts it dissipates. That is why it has the metal tab that should be bolted to a heatsink.
