hello

i have 3 resistors in parrallel

is it true that you wont get a voltage drop, or if u do it is very smalll

cheers

adam

you will always get a voltage drop if current is flow - good old Ohms law

oh rite, i thought it would only limit the voltage through

will have to work that out then!

thanks

adam

Voltage drop

Yes, but isn't the basic principle teaching, that current stays the same in series, and voltage drops; and in parallel, current drops, while voltage remains (in theory) the same.

that's the general idea of things. Good ol' Kirchoffs (i know i spelled that wrong) current and voltage law, unless your dealing with some seriously non linear divices then yea, current is the same for devices in series and voltage is the same for devices in parrallel.
