Hi all,

I've been asked to design a circuit ( a verification aid to a piece of test equipment) that will detect a voltage range from 250V to 2kV. I was thinking i could do this using a rotary switch to select the required voltage, which would then allow me to use a voltage divider - RC network - comparator circuit to led output.
I would be grateful if someone would confirm i could do this or tell me otherwise.
If anyone has better way of approaching the problem, please let me know.
