Greetings, :D

I'm Currently Working on an Innovation that Harnesses Ultrasonic Technology (More Specifically, Simple(??) "Mist Makers")

I Need to "Tweak" the Chinese-JUNK-Design/Size to Exact Specs...

Problem is, I Scoured the Internet For Schematics/Prints/Diagrams/Operating Info...

I Found Absolutely, NOTHING Useful!!

Plan B:
I Purchased a Few Units Online, In an Attempt to "Reverse Engineer" Them...

After Cutting One Open... I Noticed, ALL Internals are Completely Encased I Some Kind of Polyester Resin (Similar to Body Filler, AKA "Bondo")

Any USEFUL Info, Is GREATLY Appreciated!!

My guess is that the mister works much the same as a piezo sounder, i.e. a piezo transducer is driven by an amplifier and an electrode on the piezo provides a feedback signal to the amp input to create an oscillator running at the resonant frequency of the piezo. Presumably the frequency is somewhat dependent on the water depth above the piezo.

Did you try the alternative search term, "nebulizer?"

Among all these device images, there are designs:

And of course, lots of stuff on YouTube, like this hoot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l37U7D8AnwU

Also, if you search on "ultrasonic nebulizer parts," with or without "diy," you will get lots of hits.
