Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me design a device that basically consisted of 2 momentary switches and some sort of PIC system (I believe PIC would be what we'd want for this one). What it would basically do would be time the interval between 2 compressions of the momentary switch, and then create a resistance based on the following function, where T=time in milliseconds and R=resistance in ohms.
T=.01139R+30.612873

Could anyone direct me to any good books/readings/people with expertise about this? Any help or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Colin

The hard part would be to 'create a resistance', it would probably be a lot easier to tell us why you want to do this - there may well be a much simpler way.
