Thinking about building a chipamp, have a few questions.

Looks like he may just use a PA poweramp, we found one for $90 that puts out 450wRMS mono-bridged @ 4 ohms. Then I'd just have to build a rack to throw it in, and set him up with an eq.
 
I'd like to make a small portable headphone guitar amp for practicing. Something like the headbanger, but with some simple controls, like bass control or something. Maybe I'll make a new thread about it.

You don't need stereo for a guitar amp, do you?

It is the simplest small amp to build, EXTREMELY easy. It can drive a small speaker, or headphones.
