Question about a thermo-switch to control a simple fan. Is there an adjustable thermo switch that can be set to turn on a fan when the temperature reaches, say - 90 degrees F?
The application would be a car battery powered fan (inside the vehicle) that would kick on when the car temp reached a preset threshold.

These look pretty fancy (and some require shipment from Europe... - could the same be achieved by employing a house thermostat - like an inexpensive programmable thermostat to control the on/off power to the fan?!
They're not fancy, they're basic bimetallic strip thermostats, no fancy programmable microcontroller, just connect in series with the fan and it'll work.
