The mighty PICKIT2 :P

Hi, i found this cool application that allows us to program AVRs and use the PICKIT2 as a USB to serial converter. Havent done the AVR thing(dont have any lying around and would like someone to test it for me) but the other one is working. You will need to download com0com (Null-modem emulator (com0com) - virtual serial port driver for Windows). For 64bit systems(like mine) i suggest download Eltima Virtual Serial Port Driver(14 day trial version )

Are you using AVRISP USB to serial. Seem to recall it was a bit of mess to install and use.

Hi 3v0, i have used the USB to serial converter. A little bit of a problem yes, but its useful with serial being used overhere a lot.
