I want to build a temperature display circuit with a thermister. I just want the thermister to read the temp and display it on a lcd. I think I need to program a pic chip to do this. Which chip from microchipdirect do I need to buy? Or is there a easier way to do this?

Thanks! Thats what I needed. I just ordered a programmer (picp40) and the chip (PIC16F84A-04/P). Ill start going through the tutorials and see what I can learn while waiting for the parts.
