I get the same result using FireFox.

Same result with Chrome. The indent and outdent buttons do not affect the cursor the same way. The ordered list, font control buttons, indent, and outdent buttons -- apparently any formatting button -- also make the cursor reappear. A screen refresh also makes the cursor reappear.
