I always knew this would work but never really had an opportunity to try it until last weekend. It works great. The LED code only uses 16 instructions in my ISR.
The LEDs are being used as on/off indicators and you push a switch to toggle from "on" to "off" or from "off" to "on" so you don't really notice that you're lighting the LED when you press the switch.
