OK, I am going to have to buy a computer. Thinking about an Area 51 laptop.

What I'd also like to think about is using a VR headset to:
1) Watch TV (4k)
2) Have an IR repeater.
3) Look at my laptop screen
4) Support a wireless HID device. I have a Logitech keyboard that would be perfect. It contains an integrated trackpad and keyboard. You plug in a USB gizmo and it may use Bluetooth to communicate with no drivers. I don't know the range.

I see some noise that VR headsets like Display port.

So, I'd like to use a computer or watch TV using a VR headset. 3D suggested.

Look very carefully at the resolutions and viewing angles with VR gear.
They are still a long way off matching the resolution of your eyes.
