Hi, I am building a 'standalone' project using a Atmega 328P-PU chip, and using a LT7805 regulator, but am not sure what value capacitors to use on the input and output sides of the regulator.
I have looked at the LT7805 spec sheets and they use 0.33uF on the input and 0.1uF on the reg output, which seem extremely low values????

It was the arduino schematic that confused me, as the 2 X 47uF caps are a lot different in value to the 0.33uF & 0.1uF as proposed in the LT7805 data sheet...
