S smitchell82 New Member Sep 4, 2003 #1 Hi, Im wondering if there is anyway to set up a sound card so that it will act as a signal generator/power supply (DC). what is the usual (p-p)V output of a soundcard when playing audio? Is there any software floating around that can do this, or is it possible to re-program a sound card to do it? thanks. Sam

seeker New Member Sep 4, 2003 #2 Hi smitchell82, Here is one free example of tone generator software: **broken link removed** I think the line level output on most sound cards is about 2 volt p-p. As far as using it for a power supply ???? They only output about .25 watts per channel so....... Hope this helps a little, Tony
