hi all,
since i been back i have been on the look out to make my life a bit easier, i have found a few things that i think are pretty useful, ok the main use is probally for newbies like myself but incase they are of use to others i will post them here.
the first one is the baud rate calculator i posted in the other thread although actualy i prefer RB's calculation but someone my get use from it
this is a free prog and downloads to the pc i.e it isnt a online calculator

number 2 is programmers notepad, now this free little program i realy like alot. it has many great features includeing if you change the file in the notepad it updates the code in mplab automaticaly and vise versa, it also has a host of other very very nice features. give it a go.

third is a online calculator for pwm i realy like the simplicity of this you just dial in your clock and ask for the duty you want and it gives you the code! nice simple and quick

this one is a number converter a nice handy little tool that sits on my desktop now
the program and link are from RB's link below and the program was written by RB himself, although it dosnt say on the site this program is confirmed working with win7 both 32bit and 64bit versions

the next is also from RB and his own creation, its a little different from the norm in that its a prime number calculator, i like this one alot as its not normaly something you stumble upon! nice one RB!

i will add some more as i come across them, i also have a number converter that sits on the desktop but cant find the link for it. soon as i do i will post it
