Hi
I'm new here

ok one problem I want to control some lights on 220v with a pic so I got a SSR (solid state relay) SHARP s202s02

now the problem is that I learned now that i need to power it up with a 1.2 v and max 30 mA so I need help to figure out a way to get that voltage

tried with some resistors but the voltage stays at 5v

https://sharp-world.com/products/device/lineup/data/pdf/datasheet/s102s02_e.pdf The spec sheet shows normal operating current for the LED input is 20mA. The Vf on the LED is ~1.2v. Resistor = (5V-1.2V)/20mA = 190Ω...but I'd go to 220Ω.

You treat this just like driving any LED with a PIC.:
For Lo ON: +5V>Resistor>+LED->PIC
For Hi ON: PIC>Resistor>+LED->Common

If you still get 5V across the SSR input, you either have it backwards...or its blown.

problem is that I measured directly +>resistor>volt meter>ground
