Hello.

My name is Muhammad, 14-year-old boy from AU.
I am a beginner hobbist with an interest in electronic circuits.

A few months ago, I got an electronic circuit diagram from radio-flier.com.
https://www.electro-tech-online.com/custompdfs/2008/03/LZ3W.pdf

That is a solar-poweed night light circuit schemetic without a light sensor like CDS.

If that is correct, the LED have to turne on at night and off at sunlight.
But my result was unsuccessful because the LED worked directly opposite to its originally design.

I applied all components in the same way only besides Q2(I used 2N3904)

I tried several times but the results were same.
I don't know what mistakes are there.
What's worng?

Anyone help me?.

Look at the dtasheet for the 2N3904 to see which pin is which. I think you have the pins of Q2 mixed up.

When the solar panel produces power in the light then it turns on Q2 which tunrs off Q1. Then the oscillator is stopped from steping up the voltage to light the LED.
