Small transmitter and receiver circuit.

I need a small circuit receiver and transmitter circuit. I am trying to make it by using 555 IC. but have some problem. do you help me about this?

allow me to offer an alternative: PT2262 and PT2272 receiver and transmitter ICs. You'll need IR transceivers or RF modules. Search the datasheet via Google.

My circuit's problem is the photo-transistor. I don't know the model number of the photo-transistor. that is the main problem.
