sla datecode?

I have an SLA that's been kicking around my lab for some time, and I'm wondering how old it really is?

It's a Universal Battery UB1270

12v, 7ah, AGM

the only thing I can find on it that looks at all like a date code is a stamping on the top cover:

"010/31"

any ideas what this code represents?

halloween?

so far, i'm thinking 31st week of 2001?

i found an 800# for UBC, so i'll give them a call on monday
